Egham Hill

We obtained planning approval for this new build development of 116 rooms for students adjacent to the Royal Holloway University campus. It was the first offsite student housing scheme to serve RHU students and was designed to meet some of the over demand for student accommodation in Egham. The building design makes use of the steep slopes to minimise the impact of the buildings on the local environment and to preserve the secluded garden like nature of the site. Many of the trees were subject to preservation orders and important for wildlife preservation and these where carefully considered in the scheme design. The buildings are designed around a landscaped courtyard that provides an attractive amenity for the residents.
