Albert Street

This Grade II Listed House was completely refurbished and extended. The existing butterfly roof was replaced with a traditional mansard extension providing an additional floor of accommodation. A dramatic contemporary frameless glass and timber clad extension was constructed at the rear and the garden excavated, improving connectivity between the house and outside. Internally the house was re modelled and new contemporary bathrooms, kitchen and bespoke joinery designed and installed throughout the property. We also restored the Listed features including the staircase, fibrous plaster cornices, doors and windows. The client’s interest in travel is reflected in the design of all areas of the house.
