Abbey Gardens
R + W transformed a dark basement in this Grade II Listed house in the heart of St John’s Wood to create an informal, open plan kitchen/ family room, taking out structural walls and removing a large section of the rear elevation, to create a major opening into a new structural glass extension. This introduced a great deal of daylight into the heart of the building and provided a seamless connection linking the house with the rear garden.
